What is Florida Water used for spiritually?
Florida Water is used to cleanse, refresh and protect. In Santería and Espiritismo it's a favorite offering for the spirits and the eggun, and it's used to clean the energy of people and spaces. Many people rub a little on their hands or forehead before praying or after a heavy day.
How do people use it?
- At the bóveda espiritual: a few drops are added to the glasses of water or offered to your spirit guides.
- Spiritual baths: a splash is added to bath water with fresh herbs.
- Cleansing the home: it's added to floor washes or sprayed lightly to refresh a room.
- Personal cleansing: rubbed on the hands, neck and forehead to clear heavy energy.
