A solid iron ceremonial press, approximately 4" x 3.5" x 3", used as one of the sacred tools of Oggun, the Orisha of iron, hard work, and the clearing of obstacles in Santería and Yoruba tradition. The iron press is a symbolic representation of Oggun's dominion over metalwork, labor, and the forging of paths, and is used as part of his tool set on the altar and during ceremonies.
