Who are the Warriors?
In Santería, the Warriors are often the first Orishas a person receives. Elegguá opens and closes the roads, Ogún clears the way with his tools, Ochosi brings justice and the hunt, and Osun watches over your head and warns you of danger. Together they protect you and your home.
Does this kit include the ceremony?
No. This is a supplies kit. The Warriors are received through a ceremony performed by your godparent or babalawo, and they decide how everything is prepared and consecrated. Many godparents ask their godchildren to bring a kit like this one.
