Quita maldicion Herbs

Quita Maldición is the herb people reach for when life feels heavy and nothing seems to go right. The name says it plainly: it takes away the curse. You get one fresh bunch, ready for a spiritual bath or a despojo.

What is Quita Maldición used for?

Quita Maldición is used in spiritual baths and cleansings to break curses, envy, bad luck and crossed conditions. Practitioners of Santería, Espiritismo and Cuban folk tradition use it when they feel blocked, drained or targeted by someone else's bad intentions.

How do people use it?

Most people use Quita Maldición in one of three ways:

• Despojo bath: the leaves are torn by hand into a basin of water, often with other cleansing herbs, and poured over the body from the neck down.
• House cleansing: the same water is used to wash floors and doorways, working from the back of the home toward the front door.
• Rubbing (limpieza): the bunch is passed over the body to pull off heavy energy, then thrown away outside the home.

If you have a godparent or an olorisha guiding you, follow their instructions. Every house has its own way of preparing a bath, and the right mix depends on your situation.

Why buy it from El Viejo Lázaro?

We've been a botanica in Miami since 2003, and herbs are what our customers come back for most. Quita Maldición is one of our best sellers because it's fresh, full and ready to use when it arrives. In Lucumí practice every ewe belongs to Osain, the Orisha of the forest, so we treat our herbs with that respect from the day they come in.
