Who is Agayú?
Agayú (also written Aggayú, Agallú or Argallú) is the Orisha of the volcano, the deep force of the earth and the river crossing. He's known as a giant of great strength, the ferryman who carries people across difficult waters, and in many houses he's considered the father of Changó. In Cuban tradition he's syncretized with San Cristóbal, patron saint of Havana.
