Gold is Ochún's color, and this sopera wears it proudly. At about 10 by 18 inches, it gives her otanes and fundamento a generous, beautiful home on your shelf or canastillero.
Why does Ochún need a sopera?
Ochún (Oshun) is the Orisha of rivers, love, sweetness and prosperity. In Lucumí practice her sacred stones live inside a covered sopera, and the vessel is chosen to reflect her taste for beauty, which is why gold and amber finishes are so popular for her.
What size is it?
This sopera measures approximately 10 by 18 inches. It's a good size for a main sopera, so measure the space on your shelf before you order.
