Colonia 1800 is one of the most trusted colognes in Cuban spiritual homes, and it's one of our steady sellers. Its clean, fresh scent is what many people grew up smelling at the bóveda and in their grandparents' houses.
What is Colonia 1800 used for?
Colonia 1800 is used to cleanse and refresh. In Espiritismo and Santería it's offered to the spirits and the eggun, used to cleanse people and spaces, and splashed on the hands and head to clear heavy energy. Many practitioners also use it in their offerings to Obatalá because of its clean, light scent.
How do people use it?
- At the bóveda: offered to spirit guides or added to the water glasses.
- Personal cleansing: rubbed on the hands, neck and forehead.
- Baths and floor washes: a splash added for a fresh cleansing.
